Why is my battery life draining so fast?

Hi there. I got a Samsung S3 and this is my first Samsung phone. The battery life has been draining very fast recently. I close the active apps and the ram every night before I sleep. When I went to sleep last night I had 71% , but when I wake up this morning, my phone is dead(0%). Can someone help?

Try installing battery doctor app and turn your battery saving mode. The application will help kill running apps.
