Why is my battery life going down to 30 as soon as I take it off the charger?

Why is my battery life going down to 30% as soon as i take it off the charger

I have a samsung galaxy s3. For the past two days, when i take it off the charger in the mornings, it is at 100%. As soon as a turn my wi fi on it falls to 30% sometimes. do i need to replace the battery?

Remove your battery and check if there's any bulge on it. Put it on a flat surface an spin it. If it spins freely that's a sign of deformation and you need to replace it as soon as possible.
