Why is my battery swollen?

Battery Swollen

Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 and about a month a go my phone started turning off after about ten seconds of use. I had a look at the battery and I was swollen I do not know what I should do.

Do not use the battery. If it's swollen, it could leak or even worse explode (if it's really swollen), so make sure to handle with caution. This is usually caused by overcharging and/or overheating.

I suggest getting a replacement battery as soon as possible.
