why is my call log blank?

I have a galaxy S4 and when i click on my phone tab my log comes up but it's completely white. i still have my contact and my messages still show but i can't get to my call log to call anyone back or see my missed calls

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to the App Manager, select the Phone app, and Clear Cache. If that doesn't help, try wiping the cache partition: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5744
