Why is my charger no longer working? (Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge)

[AC Question]

An hour ago I took my phone off the charger, which was working perfectly fine at the time. A few minutes ago I went to put my phone back on the charger and nothing happened. Well, something did happen- a Samsung Gear VR page appeared. I've no clue what that is... I tried unplugging it from all ends and plugging it back in and nothing changed. I restarted my phone. I moved to another outlet in my room and still nothing happened. I did see the VR page at least one more time. I connected the cord to my laptops usb port and it started charging. I decided to try using the wall adapter I still had from my old phone and nothing happened. I repeated everything I've listed above. I decided to move to another room in the house and tested both wall adapters. What happened was more nothing.
