Why is my contact information incorrect?

Contact information is incorrect

When I want to send a text message & touch the icon of the person (in the top right corner), scroll down to contacts, can anyone tell me why I see the word 'mobile' next a landline phone number

The phone has no way of knowing what the number is.
Mobile is set as default.
If you click there, you can set it for home, work, main, etc...
You can even enter a custom moniker for that number.
