Why is my device not allowing me to allow permission access to apps ?

[Android Central Question]

My problem is that when I install apps ,the apps need storage permission ,so when I click allow it tells me that I have to turn of screen overlay in settings ,but the problem is that that supsfic app is even in the screen overlay list ,so I tried to turn of all apps screen overlay it didn't work , no app works on my phone now , What do I do ?

Welcome to Android Central! Instead of turning off all screen overlays, try turning them off one by one. If you have a screen-dimming app, start with that one first.
