Why is my Epic slow?

Whenever you do "anything" from simple switching of apps to scrolling in your diifferent screens or whatever, you "are" using LP. How else would you get around?

I meant the phone as a whole, not just LauncherPro. I haven't determined whether LP is a battery hog by itself, or if I'm simply using the phone more than usual due to the faster/more pleasant experience.

Did anyone even try the usual old remedy for a lot of issues? Do a reboot? I know it sounds stupid but before I started rooting and all, things would get slow or start hanging up and the old reboot would resolve things again for another day or two...

This carries over from my Blackberry days... Things got messed up, reboot.. Phones like to reboot every now and then just like your computer.

That's a good tip. I do this everyday - whether my phone needs it or not. Another thing I miss about my Palm Pre, I still have yet to find an app that reboots my device automatically. Like, with the Pre, I had an app reboot my phone every morning at 4am. It's not so much of a big deal on the Epic, because it doesn't take nearly as long to start up. My Pre took upwards of 3 and a half minutes to just boot! That doesn't even count the time it took to shut down...

Found something! Refresh for Android $2.00 from the Market. Required you to be rooted.
