Why is my fingerprint sensor not working at all.

I have factory reset my phone but the problem still persist the only think it says is fingerprint sensor not working or responding

Welcome to Android Central! Sensors can fail, so that's probably what happened. If it persists in Safe Mode, then bring the phone to a repair shop (or contact the manufacturer if it's still under warranty).
