G-Sensor Working only for some minutes after a restart

Hi
I have this strange issue with my HTC M8 where G-Sensors suddenly stops working. If I restart my devise it again start working but only for some time which is not fixed. Some time it keeps on working for hour or two and sometimes it just stops working in a few minutes.
I have tried calibration, have checked auto-rotate and have even factory reset the phone but to no avail.
Even when G-Sensors are not working, phone calibrates itself perfectly but to no effect. It do not shows any error message on calibration. Whereas in the same time if I run the diagnostic "*#*#3424#*#*" it says "G-Sensor Fail".
I am unable to ascertain if it is a hardware failure or some software conflict as G-Sensor calibration never shows error and it do work if only for a small time.

Welcome to Android Central.
It seems that your phone has a hardware problem and you should go to a HTC service center and let them do a search if you have a warranty.
