Why is my Galaxy S20+ Battery Draining So Quickly?

Hi all, I'm a bit concerned about my battery life/usage on my brand new Galaxy 20+. I've had no other issues so far but I noticed or at least it seemed like my battery usage or drain seemed to be ticking down much faster than I believe would seem normal. Each percent drops every couple minutes when only doing lite tasks such as web browsing yet YouTube playback seemed to give me an hour for around 10%. I have seen posts and articles reviewing the device specifying that it should give me around 9 hours of heavy use and or screen on time. I have my images vs ones that I've seen on Google images (1,3 and 4 are obviously mine) and they just seem vastly different at percentages that concern me. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have Galaxy S20 Ultra last for a full day with light and medium use. Charging your phone within one hour so I don't really care much if battery drains. If your near plug socket or working at home.
Standby time also seeing battery drain.
Most Android phones have always been like this, so nothing new to me.
only Huawei phones had good battery life for an Android phone.
New iPhones 11 Pro versions also have excellent battery.

Don't worry about.
People who used Android phones for 8 years know this is nothing new. It's been happening for so many years.

You can try turning down the resolution to 1080p or 720p
Turn off 120Hz display.
Turn off always on display
Don't use LIVE wallpapers
I'm using exynos version

You just got this 3 days ago ?

Yes.

Yes. Im just doing a little research on this through you all. I appreciate the feedback but I think my mind saw 4500mA and it just seemed odd to see it tick down so quickly while doing something like webbrowsing.

Welcome to Android Central! At first glance, what stands out to me is that your cell signal looks really poor -- only one bar. Even if wi-fi is on, poor cell signal can drain the battery as the phone tries to boost the signal. See if the battery still drains like that if you turn on Airplane Mode (you can still turn on wi-fi in Airplane Mode).

I personally think people who worry about battery life should get iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Standby time is excellent no battery drain
Battery life is excellent should last up to 2nd day

I'm using S20 Ultra
I got 5000mAh battery and last for one day on light use. Because of Ramadan I use my phone less. Have to charge every day. But it takes 52 minutes to fully charge from 1% to 100%
With 45 Watt charger

P. S. Could be I have always on display on with 2K screen resolution.

I have both two phones ..Phone 11 and Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

Excuse me, but why show a photo of the backs of your S20 Ultra and iPhone 11 when the question for this thread was about battery drain?

SnapDragon

Not to mention my battery drain seems even faster during a call. I watched it drop 5% in just a few minutes of a call.

Thats pretty aggressive. I would exchange mine asap if it did that. Since its only been several days, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle

The problem is I hate the idea of not having a device because of this whole virus situation. Having to send out and wait for replacement.

As B. Diddy noticed earlier in your pictures it showed you with about a 1 bar signal. If that is a constant for you that is probably the drain issue.

As I mentioned before, try turning on Airplane Mode (to turn off the cell radio), and then turn wi-fi back on, and see if the battery drain is just as severe.
