Why is my Google Pixel XL battery draining very fast and having force shut down issue?

I have an issue with my Google Pixel XL phone. The battery drained very fast and at some point, when I opened multiple apps at a time, the phone suddenly force shut down by itself and when I switched it back on, battery percentage showed 1%. Any tips on these?

Sounds like a dendrite in the battery. You need a new battery.
