Why is my Huawei not showing download progress on the status bar?

[Android Central Question]

When downloading it doesn't show anything it just show after completing. Have turned on all download manager notifications but still it doesn't work also further settings shows that one category is deleted don't know how to reset it please help?

Where and what are you downloading?
I noticed when download in chrome downloading APK it doesn't show status bar
