Why is my J3 Pro turn off suddenly?

Bought my J3 Pro a month ago. Was texting and phone was on charging @50+% when it froze for a sec then turned off but Samsung logo is displayed though ( blinking-like). I stop charging it at this point. Please help. Thanks.

Were you over loading the phone with apps previous to that?
