why is my keyboard case not working?

i have a 10.1" onn android tablet with detachable case and my keyboard stopped working after i just got it yesterday. it worked fine yesterday and then i put it up and took it sonrwhere with me and ever since then it just wont connect, what should i do?

Welcome to Android Central! Does the keyboard connect via Bluetooth or via some physical connector (like a USB port or a pogo plug)?

by pogo.i tried to wipe the connectors off with a fiber cloth and that didnt do anything either. just to add a little more info.

Probably a hardware failure, then. These budget off-brand devices typically have worse quality control than better-known manufacturers. Is the device still under warranty?

i dont know. i got it friday but the person who got it didnt buy a walmart protection. as for the manufacturer warrenty, im not sure if it has one.
