why is my keyboard incomplete

[Android Central Question]

usually I have a part of my keyboard that shows word suggestions but that part is cut off so I can't change my keyboard theme or use clipboard directly on my keyboard

Welcome to Android Central! Which keyboard app? Does this happen all the time, or only when you're trying to type in certain fields?
