I remember my blackberry doing this but I'm pretty sure stock android does not.

I am referring to the DO NOT DISTURB Schedule days M-Su. from -to settings

Ok so under Sounds > Do Not Dusturb

It's really specific to what gets turned off and it will not physically turn off the phone, just certain notifications.

It's it not working at all?

in this setting the device suppose to POWER OFF at a set time/11PM my settings/ and POWER back ON at 5AM /my settings/.In Schedule I have marked this to happen every day of the week, but it does not doing it.I guess it means its not working at all.

Can you take a screen shot of the settings screen for this?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you have this feature confused with what it's actually supposed to day. When "Do Bit Disturb" is active (between the times you've set) the phone is supposed to remain on, but shouldn't make any noise or light up the display should you get a call from someone or you get any other kind of notification from any app on your phone. It is customizable in that you can select certain apps, etc to ignore it, but no matter what, the only time your phone will be "off" is when you manually power it down.

I would personally love this feature, though, but I'm OK without it. Hope this helps.

Dang straight this was "Posted via the Android Central App"

No, there's no stock setting to "Power Off" and then "Power back on" your phone. In fact, if the phone is off, there's no way for the software that is no longer running to power the phone back on. As stated already, there is a setting to silence all calls and notifications at a certain time and then turn the sounds back on at a certain time. "erwaso" already told you how to get there. If that's not working, let us know, but there is no way for the "Stock" software to turn off the phone and absolutely no way for the software to turn to phone on.

this exact feature exists and works on my BLU KitKat 4.4 OS.If I remember correctly it had worked on my LG G3 as well before I updated the software to Lollipop 5.0.Something must have gone wrong during the update or LG simply took this out of the update.

As other have said, you'd have to show us because we've never seen it. Not Power Off and back on using a LG G3 on either KK or LP.

I'm sorry, I'm not trying too agrue with you, but even with your Blu, I don't believe it powered off and back on. It might have went to sleep and then woke up, but it didn't power off and on by itself.

I'm sure there's a way to auto shutdown the phone, but for it to automatically turn on at a certain time, it would have to have an operating system running while it was off, which means, it's asleep, not off. Think about it. If it's off, it cannot turn on because it is not running any software. It's not logical.
