Why is my LG G6 not saving my screen brightness and screen timeout settings?

I have set my LG G6 screen timeout setting from default(2min) to 30sec as well as the screen brightness setting from default(100%) to auto and when I restart my phone, the setting always go back to the default settings...

Odd. My settings are saved.

Maybe you chould try a soft reset. This is equivalent to taking the battery out.
