i recently fixed up an old k40 i wanted the data off of but i forgot the pattern and the tries have gotten to 120 secconds each and im scared i may permanently lock it out. is there a verified service center i could go to that can unlock the pattern if i prove its mine?

Welcome to Android Central forums. I'm not really sure what options there are these days for devices users have forgotten their codes for but moderators are going to close your thread because they do not allow conversations around by-passing security.

Unfortunately if you don't remember the password there is nothing we can do. Thread closed because Android Central does not permit any discussion of bypassing security.
