Why is my LG K8 V randomly rebooting?

[Android Central Question]

My LG K8 V has been working fine for about a year now, even though the headphone jack doesnt work with soundabout or if I clean it, but now it randomly restarts. Before you ask, I checked the pins for the battery in the battery and the phone and they are clean. I've been using a Samsung charger with the inside wires showing around the part you connect to the phone since the original charger started saying "Charging slowly. To charge faster, use the original charger" So maybe that has something to do with it?

Welcome to Android Central! How frequently does it restart? If it's relatively frequent, see if it happens in Safe Mode.

It restarts pretty occasionally and it seemed to only be a small glitch because it stopped.
