Why is my Nexus 6 no longer "Charging over AC"/Qualcom Quick charge issue

[AC Question]

I've tried everything from different chargers (all Qualcomm quick charge 3.0 or 2.0) and multiple different USB cables that worked fine with the Qualcomm chargers before recently.

If I have it on a regular 5v2a charger it will charge at the same rate now if not faster.

For the record I have already purchased a new battery for the phone when I bought it used just in case and have not yet found a need to replace it. If that would help I'd do it today. I'm just not sure if that's a red herring or not.

I can't tell what your issue is. A 5v2a charger is what you should be using on a Nexus 6. That's the output voltage of the charger that was shipped with the N6. Is that charger no longer working?
