Why is my Note 4 screen uneven?

This issue is most noticeable on the lower left corner where it's lower than the metal frame. About half way down the left side, it seems to slowly start sinking below the metal frame of the phone. Is this normal or do I have a defected model? Or is this the gap issue I heard about.
