Why is my Note 9 saying unstable connection?

Ever since the recent software update, my game seems to be trying to connect to wifi and won't open. It keeps telling me I have an unstable connection, and telling me to sync my gaming data.

What game?
Try uninstalling and then reinstalling.
Games do phone home. To check for authentication and ownership.
