Why is my phone slow to start?

I have a three month old Huawei Y6 Elite smartphone that is very slow to start up. It has been the same since I activated it. It takes about a minute to fire up. I notice people with other phones almost instantly starting up

Try the old wipe cache partition trick first... It's that doesn't work, come back and tell us and we'll trouble shoot some more with you...

Welcome to Android Central! Can you compare with anyone else who has the same phone? That may just be how long it takes to boot up. The specs say that it uses a Snapdragon 210 processor (quad-core running at 1.1 GHz), which is significantly underpowered, compared to most midrange or flagship phones. Remember that this is a budget device.
