Why is my phone storage saying full yet there is more sapce

[Android Central Question]

The phone is Tecno spark 9T.... technically new with a storage of 128 gb but only 7gb used and it says full .... recently when I go to storage it says internal shared storage...can this be solved?

Welcome to Android Central! Where did you purchase it? Did you get it directly from Tecno, or from some site like Wish or Aliexpress? Those latter sites are notorious for selling knockoff phones with fake specs.
