Why is my phones internal memory lost quickly?

i used htc desire 500. In my phone's internal storage there are no files. but it indicates memory full (105mb free of 1.13gb). what's that problem and what can i do? please help me.

What do you mean you have no files on Internal Storage? You have plenty of files there--they're just files that the system and apps use.

Sad that this is the only option to fix this otherwise nice phone. I will need to do this for my friend because his internal storage is all the time even after a reset!
