Thank you, and welcome as a new member.

I cannot see anything obviously wrong with them myself, but I moved the thread to the P30 Pro forum for comments from other users, which may follow now that you've posted samples; and I'll also ask other team members for their judgments.

I looked at the mountain photo. It's pretty good considering that it's a cell phone camera.

Most of these all look great. The only one I see a problem with is your first sample looks blurry. If the wind was blowing the plants around, you will get motion blur, which does sometimes look like an out of focus issue.

I have taken meny photos of this mountain with Samsung mobile and it sad to say that its much better. Even old Samsung mobile. I love taking photos with my mobile and have don that in meny years. This phone is a big disappointment. Macro and closeup is my favorite.

Were you in a car for the mountain photo?

Every camera has a minimum focus distance.. Any closer and it will always be blurry

When you are taking the photos, do you tap on the spot you want to be in focus, or do you let the camera pick the focus point?

I’ve noticed on my pro that tap to focus does not always work, it focuses ok but then goes out of focus slightly when you take the shot. Not always and mostly for close subjects.

Hi, i am experiencing similar issues with My P30. I always feel like I can’t focus correctly. The pictures are always blurry when the subject is just slightly moving... seems worst then my P10 or even my PH-1? Any setting we could use that you guys are aware that I’m not?

The last 2 photos look like a portrait or "bokeh" effect. Could you have it set for this? Maybe try turning that off?

If it's on autofocus, you can't focus it manually. It also looks as if the camera app has center-focusing, so what's in the center of the picture is focused and anything outside that range isn't. (The mountain is already focusing at infinity, so the mountain, being even farther than the focus point, is still sharp. But the flower is focusing on the center flower, so everything closer and farther is out of focus (as it should be).

Try an app like Manual Camera and focus on what you want to focus on. And study the Depth of Field Table (set it for 27mm and the F2 column should come close). How large a distance over which you can maintain focus is determined by the lens and the aperture - the manufacturer can't do anything about it (except use a different lens or a different aperture). It's determined by the laws of optics. Even a Hasselblad, focusing on something 5 inches away, won't get a good focus on something 20 feet away. To get that kind of shot you'd need an aperture of about F256, which would mean a million foot-candle spotlight to provide enough light to get a decent exposure.
