Why is my S Note constantly crashing?

I have a Note 4 running Android 5.1.1. The S Note program constantly crashes while I'm in the middle of using it. The specific message is "Unfortunately, S Note has stopped." It seems to happen more when I'm rotating the phone or when I'm using the selection mode but it will happen normally too.

Try powering up the phone is Safe Mode to see if the problem persists. If it works fine, then some app you installed is messing with S Notes. The Safe Mode link is for a Verizon phone. If it doesn't work, search for Safe Mode for your own carrier.

You can also get funky S Notes and Action memo failures if you've turned off animation delays in developer options.

It is working fine in safe mode. I guess I'll have to find out what app is causing the problems. I could go through them one by one but do you have any ideas how to find out quicker?

Sorry, I have no idea what apps you have. Do you have anything that has to do with writing or note taking? Maybe something that can use the S Pen? You mention it happens more when rotating the phone... any compasses or leveling apps. If it just started recently, try the newer apps. Could be anything, really.
