Why is my s4 showing lte on screen instead of 4g and not letting me call out

Its like i dont have service but my girl has same phone service and has 4g. I cant call out

Do you have the same provider? In either case, whether you see 4G or LTE or something else depends entirely on the connection your phone has with the nearest network tower.

You can try switching airplane mode on and off forcing your phone to search for a network again. If that doesn't fix it, try taking out your SIM card and putting it back in.

And a gentle polish of the sim contacts won't do any harm either...

Mine don't have this service too.I check the settings there isn't any other service.
