Why is my S8 plus battery life only giving me 3hours SOT?

I've had my phone for about 1year and right away I noticed that the battery life isn't as good as my s7 edge was, but now it's worse than it was when I first got it: I'm getting on average 3-4hours screen on time on good days, and overall time off battery is about 8-10 hours.

Others are claiming 19 hours+ still with 4-5 hours screen on time and even that they're complaining about. I went to the Samsung store to check if there's a problem and they just looked at my battery settings and said it's fine due to the fact that screen on time is the highest battery drainer, but I somehow feel as if the battery is damaged. Yesterday I went to the orthodontist and my phone was on 36% when I left my house but I took my battery pack with me, and charged it up to 57% and I had spotify music playing offline in the background for 2 hours- I was out for about 4hrs 30 and my phone went to 11%.

Really? I definitely think Oreo has done positive things for the smoothness of the device but mh battery has been like that before Oreo

Battery drain is the same for me. But I keep the phone on standby during working hours so that drains too, leaving less sot.
If I play some YouTube vids and do some browsing sot increases of course.
I suppose on max res I get between 5 or 6 hours sot. If I use it continually.

Anyway, should drain 1% or less per hour in standby with aod off. Also depending on active apps of course and I got WiFi always off in standby.

That's quite good if it's 5-6 hours. Today I tested it again and I even put it on power saving mode mode and my battery is nearly dead.

I use an extended ZeroLemon battery but it's just an external device and the internal battery still has to be recharged.

Now the percentage is just like a dummy gauge in the car, voltage is what's meaningful.

The battery life is awful. I leave at 7:30AM with 4.3V and by 9-10AM it's at 3.8V with some apps running and maybe 1 hour of screen time. For reference, it shuts down at 3.5V.
