Why is my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 hanging and then nothing works?

my samsung galaxy note 2 hangs and then nothing works

Ok so my Galaxy Note 2 just suddenly started to hang I tried to restart but just when I open the lock it hangs and then nothing happens thats it. It never happend before so I don't know what to do please help

Can you boot into Recovery Mode? If so, a Cache Partition wipe may help.
