Why is my Samsung Galaxy S3 unresponsive?

I dropped my S3 recently. The top left of my screen then had a green blob and my touchscreen became unresponsive. After separating the battery from the phone for a few minutes and reinserting it back, it switched on but the condition is still the same. Only now that it the green blob had "spread" and become a green screen with tinges of pink.

Is there any way I can manually fix it? Warranty is out of the question.

sound liek your gunna need a new screen :/ nothing else can fix this

I see. Only the screen? That's all?

You need the screen/digitizer lcd assembly. You can get it for around $80 maybe cheaper on ebay.

There are a few YouTube videos on how to replace it.
