Why is my Samsung galaxy S6 Echoing with talking on phone?

I have a Samsung S6 with a Otterbox defender and i am having a problem. When i call someone the person I am calling is hereing a echo of there own voice. Please Help!

UPDATE - I can make it stop if i open the 2 caps on the bottom of the case.

This can happen sometimes it is usually a network error. Happens sometimes in NYC and other areas for me. Ive got the echo many times with different phones over the years. If it happens everytime, try calling someone in a different area and see if they have the problem

On AT&T with a Defender, haven't encountered this issue yet but I would think it is also more network related.
