Why is my Samsung Note 5 getting heated while on a call?

my samsung note 5 mobile is having heating issue

i can feel its heat while calling on net. its only 3 days i got it now i am confused if i should return it or its just normal

Welcome to Android Central! When you say "calling on the net," do you mean wi-fi calling, or calling over the regular cellular network?

If it's a cellular call, how's the cell signal in your area? If it's pretty weak, that can cause the phone to heat up as it works to boosts the signal.
