Why is my screen black with blue flashing light and no buttons working? S6

My s6 phone won't do anything. There is just a blank screen and a blue light flashing. It was fine last night when I plugged it into the charger and woke up like this. Anyone know what to do or what caused this?

Welcome to Android Central! Press and hold Power and Vol Down for about 15-20 seconds to force a shutdown, in case the phone is still technically "on." Then try booting into Recovery, and see if you can wipe the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21095
