Why is my screen not responding on samsung a5?

[Android Central Question]

There are blue lines appearing at the top and bottom of my phone and it won't let me click anything. I have reset the phone however it only allows around 5 seconds of responsiveness . Also i can use my google assistant to enter my phone but can't do anything afterwards. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
