Why is my screen turning on randomly?

So I switched from IOS to android ( finally.. ) But I already got a problem.
I got a Samsung a5 2017 and the screen turns on randomly every 15/20 seconds. No clue why it does that.

Do you have a case on, or are there any magnets nearby? Most phones have a magnetic sensor for smartcovers (i.e., flipcovers that will turn the screen on when you open it). The smartcover has a tiny magnet embedded, which triggers the sensor when you open or close it. So if there's another magnet nearby, it could also affect the smartcover sensor.
