why is my sms service acting wierd

every time i receive a sms, it will just create a whole new conversation. Can some of your please help? I am using my OnePlus Two by the way.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the stock Messaging app? Does this occur with other SMS apps? And to be clear--you're saying that if you already have an SMS conversation with a contact, and that contact sends you a new SMS, it will create a new conversation instead of including it in the existing one?

It will happen if the conversation is a day old (perhaps more than a day) and it happens with the stock app, Hangouts and Messages.

That's odd. Have you asked your carrier's tech support about this?

I suggest contacting your carrier, since the SMS service is specific to the carrier, not the phone.
