Why is my tablet muting itself, and why is the volume bar popping up in the middle of something????

So, you know how when you are playing a game and you turn if the volume, this volume "box" or "bar" pops up, right? Well, my Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite keeps muting itself, and the volume thingy pops up without me changing the volume... why does my tablet do this????

Welcome to Android Central! Does this only happen when headphones are plugged in? If so, are those headphones specifically "Made for iPhone"?
