why is my truecaller showing unread messages when there is none

[Android Central Question]

there is a given contact when i send a text it shows i have unread messages when in reality i have read all the messages,,i have tried "mark all as read" but its still not working.
Help please.

Welcome to Android Central! Is TrueCaller a separate app? If so, try clearing its app cache in the Settings>Apps menu, force stop it, then restart it again.
