Why is my youtube app messing up

Every time I watch a video that I watch a lot of couple of minutes in the video it will then play later on in the video the screen will go black and I can hear is the audio so I have to get out of the video and go back to the recent video that had the black screen then push play I asked my friends and family they don't know and I sent this issue to youtube they didn't do anything please can someone help me
