Android Central Question

It seems that the always on display on my new Galaxy S10 is always sideways (in landscape mode) even when the phone is physically sitting vertically...like sitting in the wireless charger...or in my hand. This makes no sense to me! If it’s sitting vertically in the charger and I want to read the time on the phone, I have to **** my head sideways!

I have seen other threads where people WANT the display sideways. But it should be an option or be dependent on the physical orientation of the phone, not permanent. <sigh>

Thanks, @ClintRo! Sweet! I was about to write that my display doesn't look the slightest bit like your screenshot, but then I realized you were one screen deeper than I was. I am not used to this user interface where there is a setting with a slider AND there are more settings behind it if you tap it. ARGH! For some reason, I don't find that intuitive!

For anyone else reading this thread, the path to the screen posted above is: Settings > Display > Always On Display (on my S10, it's at the very bottom under Looking for something else?) > Always On Display (tap this) > Screen orientation

Thanks, Steve

By the way...apparently, I should have used the word "tilt" instead of the word "c**k" when referring to turning my head sideways. Too funny. I used a bad word and didn't realize. Sorry! :-)

You know...if anyone is reading this thread that is responsible for this UI...I suggest that these settings, where you are able to tap to get to more settings, should have a + or an arrow at the far left edge as a hint to the user that the section can be expanded for access more settings.
