Why is the Artwork for my songs so blurry?

Whenever I look at the album cover for my songs, its so blurry. I tried copying and pasting the album cover art in Windows Media Player and it still comes out blurry. Then I use Itunes and tried to replace the album cover there, but it's still coming out blurry. The pictures I have are like 500x500 and range from there to 1000x1000, so the quality of the pictures are good. What exactly can I do in order for my Samsung Galaxy S4 to stop showing the album covers so blurry? Thanks

I don't know how to fix that problem, but there is an alternative. There's an app for that that will replace your current album covers. It's called "Album Art Grabber". It'll replace your current ones with not blurry ones.

Mp3 tag pro is also a app to replace artwork but it is for pc Windows. My player pro on android does this job well...
