Why is the re-sizing of video so crappy on my Galaxy 6?

Crappy resizing of video on Galaxy 6

The video is extremely blurry and appears out of focus when I send it via a text after the automatic resize it does. Is there a setting to adjust this?

Welcome to Android Central! MMS has a filesize limit of about 1.2 MB, so any video you send is going to be severely reduced in quality due to compression. The best way to send a high quality video is to upload it to somewhere like YouTube or your Google+ Photos, and share the link privately with the recipient. (That's essentially what sending videos over Hangouts does--Hangouts is to Google as iMessage is to Apple.)
