Elephone P9000
Android 6.0
Not rooted (but for some reason Whatsapp thinks it is)

This is my second phone of this model which i got about a month ago, the first one didnt have this issue. It's always been having clock issues but i ignored it until now because it made my alarm not go off. Other days the alarm has worked so this problem isnt consistent. As of a few minutes ago,

main clock widget time 9:46,
notification bar time 9:46
pulled down notification menu time 9:45
clock app time 6:01
just installed clock sync and it says the system time was correct (1000 ish).

Just now,

main clock widget time correct,
notification bar time correct
pulled down notification menu time 9:45
clock app time 6:01
just installed clock sync and it says the system time was correct.

Just now (again),

main clock widget time 1min behind,
notification bar time 2min behind
pulled down notification menu time 1min behind
clock app time 1min behind
just installed clock sync and it says the system time was correct.

As you can see each of these clocks seems to update at different times and this is a big problem as the time skipped over my alarm time this morning and i missed a class.

Probably something to do with the phone, or with Elephone's modifications to Android 6.0. The time should be coming from the cell tower if you chose that (which you should) or from its internal clock (which you shouldn't), not from different places for different apps.

The fact that WhatsApp thinks the phone is rooted makes it ore likely that Elephone mucked around with Android in a way they shouldn't have.

I don't know of you can get the phone replaced with something else at this late date, but that's the first thing I would try - it's a manufacturing defect, and likely to be common to all P9000s.
