Android Central Question

I have the Galaxy Note9. Every time I unlock my phone there's a delay before an orange filter overlay is applied over the screen (like night mode) at 10 PM and turns off at 6am. I don't have that many apps, but I thought it was through a setting on Google. I know it's not the Blue light filter setting on my phone, because when I turn that on and the overlay is also on, my screen is a bright orange.

Welcome to Android Central! The feature on Pixel phones is called Night Light -- search your system settings for that and see if something comes up.

Hi. could be the blue light filter. mines in the pull down menu but I think you can find it in settings and display. I have it set from sunset to sunrise but can be set to any time you want ( or turned off). hope this helps.

<SETTINGS> <DISPLAY> <Blue light filter> - Tap it and it gives you a description and then the option to "Turn on Now" or "Turn on as scheduled" with sub options of "Sunset to Sunrise" or "Custom Schedule" - or you can shut them both "Off" if you don't like it! There's also an "Opacity" slider that adjusts the amount of orange you see when it's active!
