Android Central Question

For over a year when I dial or receive calls on my Google Pixel 5 the folks on the other end hear a reverberation of all sound. I do not hear it on my end.
Is this a known problem and does Google have a fix? If not, is Google replacing these funky phones?

Welcome to Android Central! This can happen on any phone, not just Pixels. There are a number of possible causes:

-- If you have a case, try taking it off -- some cases interfere with the phone's noise-cancellation mic, which might contribute to this kind of echo.

-- If you're using wi-fi calling, test it with wi-fi calling off.

-- See if they still hear the echo if you change to speakerphone, or a wired or Bluetooth headset.
