These ads keep poping up on my screen and they open the ad up in the multitasking bar like it's an app but it doesn't have a name. I've tried deleting all of my .apk files but that didn't work. I tried deleting past apps that didn't work. I also tried multiple antivirus apps but they are still showing up, please help.
Thanks

You have to open it in docs. (Sorry)

This is happening on my wife's note as well. A solution would be awesome as I'm not convinced it's an app she downloaded. Seems to happen when opening the default messaging app

Might want to go into Chrome or whatever browser you're using and close all tabs if any are open. Then go into settings, apps, find chrome/browser, and clear cache. Sometimes, if a tab with a popup is left open in the browser, the popup will continuously open until the tab is closed. At least, I've had that happen to be before. Hopefully, this helps.

It doesn't have to something downloaded.
Might be. Might be adware from the adserver.
Cross-site scripting. JavaScript.

Switch to Sammy Internet and add 5 ad blockers.

Most say ads are annoying but harmless. Until they're not.

This gets asked daily. Wish there was an official sticky thread I could point to besides saying Google popup ads.

Here are some more pop ups that recently showed up.

I had this happen to me and it was from an app called ESFile manager or explorer once deleted and reset the adds stopped.

find out what app is causing it and report it to Google. pretty sure that's against terms of service.

I have whatsapp and no issues.... some of those free apps push ads...check your apps one of them is pushing ads to your phone.
