LOL at this thread. RIM and their Blackberrys have ruined it already by making people ocd about keeping an eagle eye on their device's memory and what is/isn't running.

Ive had this problem also so the best thing to do is keep task manager off the phone and let it handle it's on biz?

If you think a task killer is necessary then you have a problem app that you need to take care of. The task killer can address the symptom but not the cause of the issue.

Memory usage != memory leak. Please do some reading up on the latter as you're misusing the term.

You know... I didn't even realize where my OCD was coming from pertaining to memory leaks and task management until reading this thread just now...

I promptly deleted Advanced Task Killer and just fell in love my with Droid that much more..
