Why is tool box icon showing up on random apps

I set up my galaxy s6 by using the NFC tap to back on my galaxy s5 which has tool box. The galaxy s6 does not have toolbox, yet one random apps I'll see a little semi-transparent toolbox icon just lingering around randomly see the pic below for reference.

This is the menu button. it seems as if instead of having a set menu "dots" button in the top right as most apps, it's giving this floating tool box button.

EDIT: unfortunately it looks like if you click it and go into that apps settings, the icon doesn't go away, it just becomes un-clickable. You can still move it around but its useless.

Yes all you can do is move it around. It looks like toolbox from the s5. Thanks for clearing this mystery up for me! Is this a future functional menu for lollipop?

I think it's specific to Samsung. I haven't seen that on any stock lollipop

Seems like a Google thing. Also, some apps are not totally compatible with Lollipop but still work. Could it be a combination of the two?

I found an app where it actually works, seems like old outdated apps use it lol
